The Centre for Local Governance Advocacy is an independent, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit advocacy and research institution. The institution aims at promoting good local governance, through evidence based research and capacity building for actors.

CLGA has been shaping Public Policy on local governance and decentralization through several publications and articles expressing a professional opinion on Local Governance issues and offering advice based on its research findings to government and other national-level institutions.

2024 Public Financial Management Compliance League Table (PFMCLT) Launched
The Centre for Local Governance Advocacy (CLGA), with funding from the European Union, has officially launched the 2024 edition of the Public Financial Management Compliance League Table (PFMCLT) at a well-attended event held at the Erata Hotel in Accra as part of its efforts to promote public financial management compliance by MMDAs in Ghana.
