Adentan Waste to Wages (ADWAWA) Project Launch

The  European Union in Ghana in collaboration with the Centre for Local Governance Advocacy - CLGA and the Adentan Municipal Assembly (AdMA) on Wednesday, March 25, 2021 launched the European Union Circular Economy and Local Development Programme in Ghana and the Adentan Waste to Wages (ADWAWA) Project.

The Adentan Waste to Wages (ADWAWA) Project forms part of the European Union Circular Economy and Local Development Programme; a programme which aims at contributing to a more sustainable and healthier environment while creating local employment opportunities and developing technology for the management of community waste to improve sanitation and generate income. 

The ADWAWA Project seeks to contribute towards sustainable waste management and development through a circular economy for job creation, and a clean and healthier environment within the Adentan Municipality.
