DISTRICT PROFILE
Ningo Prampam District with its capital was carved from Dangme West and forms part of the new districts and municipalities created in the year 2012 and were inaugurated at their various locations simultaneously on the 28th June, 2012. The District was established by Legislative Instrument (L.I) 2035. The District forms part of the sixteen (16) Metropolis, Municipalities and Districts in the Greater Accra Region. The District shares boundaries with Dangme West to the North, to the West with Kpone Katamanso District, to the East with Ada West District and to the South with the Gulf of Guinea. The population of the district according to 2010 population and housing census stands at 70,923.

Hon. Mr. Jonathan Teye Doku, is the District Chief Executive. The district has an assembly at 58 members . The revenue total at 2015 was GHC 3,584,338.54 as at September and the expenditure was GHC 4,066,329.94 at September. The main activity of the people are agriculture, commerce and service.
