Covid19 Intervention in the Bono East Region
The PRODESOP Project as part of its activities has undertaken a COVID-19 sensitization campaign in Kintampo Municipality, Kintampo South District, and Pru East and West Districts to increase the knowledge of residents on the pandemic, encourage compliance to prescribed health protocols and the need to stop stigmatization of persons who have contracted the disease and recovered. The campaign took the form of radio discussions, house-to-house and community sensitization.
Some of the communities visited included Krabonso, Adiembra, Jato Akura, Chiranda, Yeji, Fawoman, Brekente, Kofi Baasare, Tonka, Kajai among others.
